PL8.email is an application that works as an email service which allows you to send and/or receive email messages via your license plates! In fact, Pl8.email is an online database which connects vehicle’s license plate with the vehicle’s owner email address. By using this database, Pl8.email allows registered vehicles to receive written messages on the owner’s email account.
On PL8.email, user’s email address is not public (to maintain user’s anonymity) and in order to send a message all you need is to know the license plate number. However, one can inform others that the vehicle’s owner is using this application, just by sticking a PL8.email sticker on the vehicle!
We could say the PL8.email is the first social network for vehicles: passenger cars, trucks, motorcycles and any other vehicle on the streets!
